Description
Business Analyst needed to develop business process maps, from “as-is” to “to-be” process flows, functional requirements documentation, traceability and test procedures. Initial efforts will be focused on successfully migrating a manufacturing plant’s ERP system to a larger, established and operational JDE system. The Business Analyst will report to the CTO.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience developing business requirements for IT implementations
- 3+ years experience managing business requirements gathering and business workflow analysis
- 3+ years experience performing business process workflow analysis and change management
- 2+ years experience documenting technical and functional specifications
- Significant working and practical knowledge of JDE
- Attention to detail and ability to reliably update a project management tool with task statuses
- A professional demeanor including written communications, oral communications and attire
- Team-focused
- Ability to prioritize tasks
Optional but Desired Qualities
- Familiarity with Baan ERP systems
- Previous experience migrating ERP systems
- Experience with software development projects including familiarity with waterfall design, scrum, etc.
- Experience or exposure to a manufacturing environment
